We are here to create, cultivate, and showcase the commerce, culture, and community of Historic Downtown Hondo by preserving the past and building a vibrant future for Hondo, Texas.

Historic Downtown Hondo is brought to you by the Hondo Downtown Business Association, a nonprofit 501(c)6, established in 2025. Organized and ran by downtown business owners, within the central business district, who are invested in this town that we call home.

Through partnerships with local organizations, neighboring businesses, and our valued members, we strive to breathe life into Hondo - building a thriving community together. While honoring the landmark Medina County Courthouse and the last passenger train that departed June 8, 1958 through our branding, we hope to continue the long standing tradition of Hondo - welcoming people with open arms and warm hearts into our town through offering experiences and moments that only we can give.
